online colleges
I'm thinking of dropping out of the community college I currently go to and getting a certificate as a pharmacy assistant. from an online program.
Have any of you taken the online colleges like stratford? Did you like it?

I only know people who received online degrees from the University of Phoenix. But they both already had an AA or AS degree. I have taken online classes and I don't mind it too much. Whether or not I prefer the classroom depends on the subject of the class.
Why are you considering the switch?
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
Both my H and I did our Masters degrees online, and while it worked for us (due to geographic location and careers), it took a lot of work and dedication. Even more, IMO, than going to a regular classroom, because extra homework takes the place of class time.
If you're serious about going that route, go to CHEA's website and make sure that the college you're considering is fully accredited. And compare the cost per credit hour to other local, similar schools; if it's a lot higher, I'd look elsewhere.

Plus, online schools are obviously going to be much more writing intensive so if you don't enjoy writing it may be more difficult and/or frustrating for you. Also, you'll need to make sure you are disciplined enough to set aside time to get all of your studies and assignments done.
Personally, I'd stick with the brick and mortor school if you have already started. You'll be paying a hefty price for the convenience of an online school.
im wanting to switch because ive already taken half my classes online for the aa ive already earned. and ive still got grants and loans that i was thinking could go towards it.
ive decideed to take an online college because i work full time and am going to have to get a second job until i get a degree.
1) Best to choose a brick and mortor school with online course/degree options
2) Make sure the school is accredited, otherwise you'll be paying extra for a degree that's worthless!
