Field trip to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh with the second grade class. The kids were absolutely awesome. Only a few minor reprimands. And on our way home, we got caught in a MASSIVE severe thunderstorm full of nickel sized hail that lined the highway like snow.
Also, I received my emergency room bill today....and about pissed myself: $4k!! So after a lengthy call with my insurance company and the hospital's billing dept, I found out the hospital had the wrong ID# and the claim didn't go through. So they are now resending it and hopefully it's either all covered or I only owe 20%.
P.S. I will edit this post later once I get the pictures off of my camera. It's amazing seeing 2 inches of hail sitting on the highway!
Re: had a great day today.
Aww, that's so great that you had a good day and the kids behaved! This is going to sound super nerdy but I'm super fascinated by hail. I just don't understand how or why it happens sometimes and not other times; if done a little research but it still just boggles my mind
Hope they get that billing issue figured out for you quick too!
Here's the hail!
