Dress Advice- last time!

Ok- I went ahead and ordered both dresses since I couldn't decide just by looking at pictures, and they've now come in. They are both incredibly comfortable and soft, and I think pretty flattering. Dress #1 is lightweight and stretchy, and surprisingly I won't have to hem it, which never happens. I already wore it all day Sunday and it wore really well for the day. Dress #2 is a great fabric that won't give up it's shape, and I'd wear it with a pink cardigan over top to sort of go with the theme of the shower. I like that it's a good shorter length, and I'm wearing it right now in the office & it feels great so far.

So what are your thoughts??? I have a friend's bridal shower/bachelorette party weekend coming up, so whichever one I don't wear to the shower I could wear to that so I can get the most bang for the buck.

  • I still love #1.  And I think #2 might be more appropriate for a bachelorette party, but I think you will be stunning in whatever you wear to either event!

  • Only you can pull off these two dresses pregnant and look fabulous! LOL

I say wear the shorter dress to whichever shower you won't be moving around as much-- that way you don't have worry about your hemline if you wear the longer dress to whichever shower you'll be moving around more. (I just remember my friend's baby shower-- a hot, muggy summer and her dress was short and boy I'm just glad her underwear was pretty!)

  • I really like both dresses. Both very pretty but very different looks. I really like #2 for a daytime shower, the first looks a little more bach-party vavava voom. You look great in both though, so it's a win-win either way!

Excellent advice!  They both look fantastic and were well worth the purchase.  :-)

  • I flipping love number one and I am going to hunt it down and buy it.
  • Wow...you are one foxy pregnant mama!  They both look great, but I love #1.

  • If you don't wear #1 I might steal it from your house while you are out. ;) I LOVE it!

  • I am not going to be much help here - they are both beautiful and so different...I don't think you can go wrong either way.  I am loving the sailor stripe trend right now, though, and when you can look that good in it while pregnant, I say flaunt it.

    Both look great! Hard decision!

  • I love #1, but i agree with the poster that said #2 is probably more bachelorette-ie
