How it went with the boss

So I spoke with my principal today, and although it was sad and awkward, it went really well. She said that she completely understood and that she would be very sad to see me go because she thinks that any school would be lucky to have me.

It feels good to have this off of my chest with my boss. She's absolutely awesome, and made me feel better when I was talking to her. She was very supportive and gave me a rave recommendation.

So if you wouldn't mind, I'd greatly appreciate it if you continued sending vibes and prayers my way. It's up to my possible future employer to decide my fate now.

I'm so glad that your meeting with your current boss went smoothly. I must feel so good to not feel like you "sneaking" around anymore. And to have your principals support and recommendation.

They said that tomorrow or Monday they'll be referring the committee's recommendation to the dean of the school and then he'll confirm the recommendation or reject it. So it could be a little bit yet, but I'm assuming they'll want to know before the end of their school year, which is the last week of May.
