Re: **MrsPhilDunphy**

  • I also was wondering this.

I created mine, but I don't get the whole "brush" part of it in photoshop.  Unless you don't use it as a brush, then nevermind.

  • I made a Photoshop brush using this tutorial:

    http://www.mcpactions.com/blog/2009/07/28/how-to-watermark/

SSW - once you load it as a brush in PS, you can just paint it on (in whatever color/size/opacity) wherever you want it.

  • Butting in - if you use Picasa, they have a watermark option as well.

True, and I think it's one of your only options if you don't have PS. The actual WM is kinda small and sad though, at least when I experimented with it.

  • I was just looking and they also have a text option in one of their editing tabs that looks a lot better than the standard wm (or at least what it used to be). You might want to play with that.

for those of you that use PS do you have the yearly downloadable subscription or did you buy the boxed software?  i am trying to figure out what i want to do, i get a discount through my company so i could get the yearly subsription for $35 and that seems pretty good...

Hmm. I didn't know that option existed. I wonder if it truly has all the components of Elements/CS?  Elements 9 is only $70ish, so I guess it depends on how quick you would be to upgrade whenever the next generation came out. I use CS5.
