It looks like Friday and Saturday are going to be gorgeous days!
What do you have planned?
Re: Weekend plans?
Third (and final) baby shower on Sunday!
Otherwise, just enjoying the warmth! I plan to sit on my back deck, drink lemonade, read a book, and watch H work in the yard all day Saturday.
Is there a lot more that you need or are you pretty much for lil baby Mira to make his apperarance?
Blerg... probably some yard work.
Hopefully, as little as possible though.
And maybe some closet organization. We have a storage closet that's kind of a disaster. But we're planning to get a shelving unit and some bins to organize it. That's a project I'm excited about.
Exciting weekend for me, as you can see!
I'd like to go to a Whitecaps game, but I doubt that will happen.
ETA: Oh, and on Friday evening, I have big plans to go to a yoga class. I usually go on Mondays, but I've missed three of the past four weeks for various reasons. I'm feeling all out of whack (mentally and physically), so I'm going tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it. Yoga is my therapy.
Haha, that is the life!
Enjoy your baby shower!
Well. . . there are a few things left. But lets just say for the 1st 3 months, I may never have to wash a baby outfit. (So far we have 60 0-3 month baby outfits, LOL).
Oh, we need a crib still. I hate all cribs, I think they are ugly and horribly overpriced. Plus I am so very short there are very few that I can actually reach all the way in.
Are they in town this weekend? I want to go to a game as well, but won't be able to squeeze it in until after May.
Yep, they're playing home Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The crib was easy for me. I had the hardest time with the stroller. Couldn't make a decision, got sooo stressed out, ugh...it was horrible. So I know what you are going through.
Hope you find one that fits your needs soon!
I love organization projects! I feel so pulled together and accomplished when I finish one. Yard work - not so much.
We have no definite plans, but I really want to ride our bikes up to Rockford and get hot dogs and beer at the Corner Bar. Last time we were there I had the vegetarian "hot dogs" and they were actually pretty good.
The crib was easy for me, too! Ha ha! Baby Mod Parklane rules.
Totally!
Not sure for Friday night. I want to sit outside for a while. Saturday I probably have to work. I'm hoping to be done by 2:00 so I can enjoy the weather. I wanted to make some Guinness cupcakes sometime this weekend too. Maybe Sunday afternoon. I'm sure I'll be doing some laundry and general housework this weekend too. I'm super exciting
Yay!! A like-minded individual. Sometimes I feel weird about complaining about yard work because I know so many people who love it.
It's nice that we're home for the weekend and can relax a bit!
Friday I'm doing errands most of the day (including taking Toby to get groomed professionally for the first time ever) then cooking Andy dinner. We discussed possibly going to a movie. Saturday we have a volunteer event in the morning, then we're helping fix up the RV in the afternoon and out for a friend's birthday in the evening. Sunday is nothing but broomball and maybe a little work around the house.
I'm excited to get into the garden to weed a bit.
Aside from that, I have class on Saturday, with a big test. I'll be reading, and getting ready for that on Friday, in class all day on Sat, and then doing some yoga to recover from stilling in a seat that long. Sunday, we'll probably travel to Lansing to meet my mom half way to pick up Willa.
Oh, yeah. I was thinking about it. Let me know if you go, I might try to meet up with you. I doubt B will want to go.
Long time, no talk
Friday -- I have a job interview at 11am, a job interview at 2pm. Then we need to drop the girls off at my parents for DH's graduation reception in GR. My in-laws are driving up from Baltimore and meeting us there. Then dinner with them, then picking up my stepdaughter for the weekend.
Saturday -- DH graduates from law school! So we will be in Lansing for most of the day. I think Saturday night will be spent at the hotel pool with the girls, and my mother-in-law. Or, spent at Thunderbird Raceway.
Sunday -- We were supposed to go to a party for some friends. But, I think after the running this weekend, the little kids will be pooped, so it may just be a day for swimming and hanging out at the pool at the hotel.
