Well, good morning...
How are you lovely ladies doing? At least the weather is nice here for now (though they always say you never know with Newfoundland weather). I've had a surprisingly enjoyable time here, the people are so SO nice. My client even bought me a baby gift - a pair of red sneakers that squeak with the baby walks. Isn't that sweet?
I hope to make it back out here sometime. But for now I'm looking forward to being home and seeing my boys. I've booked myself a flight that arrives tonight at 8:00pm but will head to the airport early to see if I can get myself on standby for a flight that arrives at 2:00 instead.

Good morning! Sorry you missed your flight ringy. That sucks, but I'm so glad that you've enjoyed your time there! You've made me more excited about going home at Christmas.
I woke up with a headache this morning, but it seems to be easing off some now. Looks to be a comfortably busy day at work and then out for drinks at a work party tonight. I seem to be constantly tired these days though, so looking forward to the weekend to get some good sleep.

Yesterday I had a wonderful day until I Walked out of work. I dropped my iPhone and shattered The screen. Luckily there is a local cell phone repair shop That fixed it for pretty cheap. I felt bad because dh cooked supper yesterday since he had to work Last night. I didnt get to go home and enjoy it with him before he had to Leave.
Today Preston has another weight check In appointment and, my bff's little girl has a play at her school. Me and The kids will be going to that. Is it Friday yet?
Missing a flight is one of my biggest fears with flying. Also? I hate alarm clocks in places I'm visiting. I'm also so paranoid that they won't go off. Here's hoping you get out soon!

Well the good news is that I got on the earlier flight.
The bad news is that I had to pay a fee to switch.

This week has been rough for me. I am emotionally drained between the little boy they found in Maine (he finally has a name though), hoping his mother rots in hell for what she did, and now Raynes news.
I think I just feel like life isn't fair right now.

Morning, all. Nothing going on here, just very quiet. I've started volunteering for a book review website and am going through catalogs to find suggestions for fall reviews--very interesting and fun to see what's coming. Then I should probably move on to real work (but there isn't much, honestly).
So my bruises from my fall yesterday aren't too bad. But my arm hurts pretty badly. I tried to run this morning (on the treadmill) and my back was really aching. At 3 miles in they became sharp, stabbing pains so I stopped. I'm going to down some Advil and head off to work.
On call last night I got paged out of my sleep. It was about antibiotic dosing and I really couldn't solve the nurses problem so I told her what the correct dosing should be but she needs to call the doc who wrote the rx. She says 'call him at THIS time?!?!'. My reply "you called ME at THIS time.' I can't just change dosing on someone, especially someone you're telling me they are suspecting flesh eating disease, come on.

I'm down today now after reading raynes' thread. That just really makes my heart break. But, last night was good. I ended up going to an event last night and ran into a lot of former classmates. I only stayed for an hour because I had dinner in a crockpot at home but it was a great time. It was also nice to go home to dinner that was mostly done. All that I had to do was cook a couple of side dishes. Fresh asparagus...yum.
Today I am most likely grabbing lunch with my brother. I can't wait to see him because there is a good chance that he has a ring for his girlfriend and I can't wait for an update from him. I'm one of two people in the family who he is confiding in regarding his upcoming plans. I am very happy for him.

Last night we had dinner with some friends and went home just in time for bed.
Tonight, we are doing our registry. We need to get it done before we leave for our trip because my sister is sending out shower invites. I also have a few more things to pick up and DH needs to pack. Not sure when all of those things are going to get done.
Uneventful night. Basketball is a permanent fixture on our tv right now, so I went to bed at 8 or so.
Tonight, it's Mexican food with a good friend I haven't seen in a while and maybe some sanding.

Nothing much going on here. I'm just glad the week is almost over. My boss thinks that I am being under-utilized (true) and wants to give me new projects (yay) but I don't really want any right now. I may have to come clean about everything going on with me right now and tell him that I can't handle one more thing until I get some of this under control. Sadly, I don't think he's going to get it.

Today I have a meeting with the caterer for our business after hours party next week, I really hope we can get the details hammered out, I'm so sick of him blowing me off.
