Anyone catch the end of Channel 6 news
Lastnight at the end of the 6:00 news they had a story on about a woman retiring after 40 years from MMC. Well as I was starting the boys evening routine I happened to catch it, and there was DH. Ha ha he got his 3 seconds of fame on the news lastnight.
Today they have a picture in the paper. From what he said they grabbed all the male nurses & CNA's on the floor for a picture op. Nothing like wanting to show off the minority. LOL.

Why the heck would that woman want to still wear her nursing cap?! At least she didn't insist on still wearing skirts with white tights.
Yeah I think the tights and skirt would be a bit much.

My mom has worked there for just about that long... she is no where near retiring, maybe she will be on the news when she retires?

My mom (who's been a nurse for a little over 40 years, although now she's in nurse management) would make a face at the hat thing. She thinks they're ridiculous and used to yell at the TV when nurses were wearing them on shows, saying "nobody wears those anymore!" (this was in the 80s)
