Husband Logic & Organization

DH loves spreadsheets and organization, much more than even I do. I was not surprised when I got the email from him a few minutes ago titled "Organized Summer Schedule", as he just got his formal orders for the new billet, move, etc. Little did I know that his wording would bring so much amusement (see early July):

Oh sweetheart, if only it really was that easy to be "in Maine-Have Baby-Class". I'll see what I can do to keep you on schedule.... Wink

    Ha!

They're going out to follow the pod migration of whales for a couple of weeks (as opposed to their spring trawls when they collect data on general fish population), so they'll be tracking the whales as they move up the coast. From what he's said, it's actually a pretty fun trip, and they're always willing to take on volunteers to help count and site the whales if you're interested! It doesn't pay, but it's a trip out to sea on a big research vessel with three squares a day! Smile

  • If I don't have a job by then, I just may take that volunteer opportunity!

What a silly husband he is! Colour-coded and everything! Too cute!

  • I LOVE IT!  Seriously, truly awesome.  But I too am a bit worried that confining "have baby" to one week on the schedule might throw a monkey wrench in things.
  • LOL!! It looks so simple when he puts it that way, right? ;)

Well she can't get in the way of the mammal watching or the apartment packing, so it's either keep to the schedule or postpone the oil spill training.  Be reasonable.

You are right.  WHERE are my priorities?

  • Baaahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa....................
  • Now, if he could go ahead and have a chat with Sprinkles regarding adhering to the schedule, it would be appreciated by all.

I told him that I had posted the schedule here b/c I thought it was too funny, but for some reason he didn't see the humor in it. I also suggested that it would be best if Sprinks could induce labor late on a Thursday night so that he could get through his class that evening and then have the next five days off until his next class so he wouldn't have to use one of his absences. He thought this was a good plan, and I should encourage Sprinks to get on board.

Oh honey, I like living in your world some times...
