Looking for a little Nestie ju-ju
As most of you probably heard already a town close to where my parents, in-laws, brother, sister and SIL and their families live has burned to the ground. If anyone has any thoughts, prayers, or vibes anything to send our way it would be much appreciated. Here is a link from YouTube of the destruction it's caused so far or you can just search "Slave Lake, Alberta Fire" (My safari browser won't let me make it clicky right now)
TIA

My family is all safe right now. I was able to get a hold of my mom last night and she said the fire by her house was finally put out. The wind died down yesterday so that was a huge help. However, there is still no rain. We are supposed to get some today but not in the north where the fires are the worst. There is a province wide fire ban right now so hopefully the campers this weekend will follow it and not start any more fires. I heard most of the fires were caused by cigarette butts. That's just unreal!
