Re: LUV's Pedi's and Mani's
I went a few weeks ago. They did a good job for a pedicure, but it was 22$. I dont get them often but I thought that was kinda expensive. My sisters pedicure started to chip the same day. However she is 11 and kinda clumsy so not sure if it was the pedicure or her. I probably wont go back. the only reason I went was to take my sister for her bday and thats where she wanted to go.

Actually $22 doesn't seem bad. Granted I have only had 1 pedi in my life, a friend treated me and I think it cost like $40.
I've never been to a place that tried to sell stuff. That would be a turnoff for me right there.
$22 is not bad, I go to Northville Nail Boutique in downtown Northville & get a mani/pedi for $40 or $42, which is pretty good compared to many salons I researched before choosing Northville Nail.
Where do you ladies recommend around the Hall Rd area or Rochester Rd??
This! My friend and I finally made an appointment last week. I thought that it was a nice mani/pedi for $30. They don't massage your feet/legs, but they do the basics. My toenail polish is still perfect (it's been about 10 days). My nail polish began to chip after 3 days, but to be honest, I'm really hard on my hands, so I was actually impressed with that.
)
Next time I would pay a few extra bucks to upgrade to the next level. Overall it was a good experience, and I would go back. Not sure if it matters, but I went to the one in Livonia.
I went and got a $22 pedicure... I had high hopes, but I wasn't really impressed. It's REALLY basic, they barely do a massage and all of that. My polish didn't chip, but I felt like the color got dull really quick, if that makes sense.
If you're just looking to get your polish changed, then I don't think it's too bad, but I probably won't go back. I'd rather pay a little more to get a better experience.
nope. chipped and peeled within 24 hours. My finger nails were totally soft becasue a layer of nail peeled off with the polish.
Oh and its the same guy who owns Lady Janes Salons.
Anna Nails, corner of Hall & Hayes in the Gardner White/Art Van strip. (586) 566-6730. I always go to Cindy (the owner) and I really like her. My pedicures will last weeks and weeks--The last one I got was just under 6 weeks ago and I just took the polish off this week, still looked great!

This!!
Sorry honey but it is a different guy who owns it.. and for that matter she is not a guy at all..It is a lady that owns them....
I dont think that the price is bad at all.. I think that they done a great job and the girls there are really nice. You can get the basic if you are in a hurry or you can go with the top if you want to relax for an hour...
This screams vendor.
YEP!
