s/o anyone use a lawn maintenance person?
someone to come mow the lawn once every couple of weeks, maybe cut the bushes when needed, take out weeds, etc? How much would something like this cost? We are in Ashburn. We have a front yard and a backyard, I think total including the house, our land is about 1/4 acre.
(DH spends most of his weekends doing this stuff and I'd really like us to do more family activities together).

We spend $20/week for the lawn. A local guy is trying to get his landscaping business off the ground. he does extra projects as needed.
Dh works crazy hours and the little time off he has he doesn't want to spend cutting the grass!

We use Diamond Cutters - they come every friday $35. They do mowing and weed wack the edging. We didn't do it this year but in past years we have had them do the spring cleanup that is pruning shrubs, mulching, edging and it was around $400.
We have used them for about 2 1/2 years now and have been pretty happy.
