There is no way that this guy could predict when the Rapture is going to happen. Would it be smart to be vigilant and prepare? sure. But according to the Bible we should be living every day like it could be the day of the Rapture.

There is nothing wrong with repenting, you know, just in case Smile

There are also a couple of things that according to the Bible have to happen before the Rapture is supposed to come. One of them being that Isreal loses their status as a country (I think that is what it is referring to) The other thing is that we are supposed to have like total world peace that the AntiChrist is supposed to lead, and then of course all he11 will break lose. I think that is what I've read/heard. I don't have any scriptures right now to back it up, but I could always find them for you and post them if you would like.

i knew nothing about this damn prediction until i read it on here. i wasn't scared until i started seeing it on EVERY board and read all the crazy things people are saying.

I feel like someone makes a prediction every decade or so just to keep people on their toes. Like, this is a reminder that one day Jesus will be coming back.

this is probably a stupid question but i admit that i know nothing about religion. since this is supposed to mean that jesus is coming back, do jewish people automatically not believe this whole thing?

Pretty much. There is some talk of the end times in the old testament but I'm thinking they are waiting for what they consider the "true" Messiah. Some Chrisitian scholars believe that the Antichrist will parade himself like he is the "true" Messiah. And now that I think about it, the peace comes after the Rapture. There will be 3 1/2 years of peace followed by 3 1/2 years of he11 on Earth

And I believe Alicia is correct, I think Jewish people are still waiting for the "true" Messiah because they don't believe Jesus was it.

And I also agree with what Linds posted and Alicia said above (obviously since it IS from scripture) if it IS Saturday, it's not because it's these crazies have seen signs or have found some mathematical pattern that proves its 5/21!

I think it's totally ridiculous that people who believe it are blowing their money and doing all kinds of crazy things.

and thanks to the both of you for the clarification. How come this is the first time I've heard of this whole thing? I always hear the 2012 claims but honestly it was just this past week I heard this for the first time. DToo bad I'm still nursing b/c they won't refill my damn xanax rx... And I could totally use it right about now.

2012 is when the Myan calendar says that the end of the world will happen. The date that this group got is supposedly calculated from dates from the Bible. I haven't read how they calculated it, but it has to be BS considering the scriptures that Linds mentioned the other day.
