Sullivan readers

I had been debating all day weather or not to read the blogs today. I wasn't sure if my heart could take it. But I was bored by the news, so I just opened my google reader. Sullivan's blog has me so freaking emotional! All of the stories of voting, canvassing... SO much hope!

Re: Sullivan readers

  • I volunteered for No on Prop 8 this morning.  This is by far one of the rainiest days we've had since I moved here, and my friend and I sat 100 ft from the polling booth with our "No on Prop 8" signs and pamphlets soaking wet and got tons of honks from passing cars and nearly every. single. person. I spoke to on their way to the voting booth said they were voting no.  It was awesome.  The best was this tiny old Indian lady.  When I saw her I debated even trying to give her a no on 8 pamphlet and she just looked at me and smiled and said "I already voted, and I voted no."  Woot!
