I think Scotty did the best overall last night and will definitely have a place in the finale. He's kind of goofy, but has a good voice, and I feel like overall he's been the most consistantly good throughout the whole show.
Lauren, who has always been my favorite, kind of let me down last night. I just felt like her performances were somewhat boring and felt like she seemed scared to death the entire time. At first the whole 'shy/modest' thing was endearing, but now she needs to break out of that because I think it is hurting her performances.
Ugh, I hate Haley, I've never liked her and I'll be honest, I was really happy when she fell last night and really happy that she messed up the words in her last song. With that being said, I think she is sort of the 'under dog' in this competition and is probably getting votes based on that. She can sing well, I'll give her that, but I just don't like her attitude/personality at all.
I'd like the finale to be Scotty and Lauren, and I'd be happy with either of them winning, but would prefer Lauren.
But I think the finale will be Scotty and Haley...I think Lauren's little girl act costs her the spot. If it's Scotty and Haley, I'd want Scotty to win.
I don't watch Idol, but I have a funny story.....
I have a student who I am pretty sure does not have two functioning neurons in her brain. She takes being an airhead to a WHOLE new level. So on Tuesday she comes into class wearing a T-shirt she made with one of those iron-ons you send through your printer showing her love for Scotty. There were pictures on the front and back, the pictures were nice. Then she put text on it. The ding dong somehow managed to put the text on the shirt as a mirror image so all of the words were backwards and she still wore it to school that way! When asked about the backwards writing, she was like, "Well I didn't notice it at first because I could read it right in the mirror.....then my mom told me it was backwards. I never realized things were backwards in mirrors!" This girl is 15 by the way and just now realizing that things are flipped in a mirror. Scotty has her vote though so that is all that matters.
Maybe it is more of a had to be there story to appreciate the humor......

I hate Scotty. He is terrible and needs to go away. I HOPE that it's 2 girls in the finale, which hasn't happened since Fantasia/Diana (correct me if I'm wrong...it's quite possible I am lol).
And I want Lauren to win simply because I feel like she wants it the most. And she's the best of the 3.
