resume, application question: how far back to show work history
in 9 to 5
how many years back is it suggested to give work history? If an app asks for the last 5 jobs but that goes back to 1999 would you still provide 5 jobs or how far back would you go?

Yes, I would still provide 5 jobs.I've always been under the impression that you should cover the last 10 years of your employment history unless otherwise specified. However, the HR manager I work for wants to see the entire job history (minus, of course, the jobs totally irrelevant - i.e. fast food, bartending, etc.).
For a resume, you can be more selective in the jobs you show.
For an app, you want to do exactly what they ask for.
