Apparently the Baltimore board has a lot of coffee lovers...
My mom and I have a code for when we go out. If the coffee sucks we say, "Mmmm... tastes like Folgers." I'm by no means a coffee snob, but everyone in my family are Maxwell House people which is where that joke comes from.
TGIFriday's has awesome coffee. My sister and I asked and they said it is made especially for them by the Sara Lee Company.
For flavored coffees the Baltimore Coffee and Tea Company has some great stuff. The Graul's Market store brand is made by Baltimore Coffee and Tea. When it goes on sale sometimes you can get it for a couple buck cheaper per pound then at the flagship store in Lutherville.
Re: Coffee!
DH got me the Cuisinart Keurig for Christmas and it has been broken since March. I need to call them and get a replacement. The pump runs but it won't draw up the water.
I can never do the french press without making a mess. I think I am too impatient!
For some reason a cup of coffee is relaxing to me, it completes my day. We have a Keurig too and I love how fast it makes a cup, but I loved our french press.....until DH broke the glass
We got one after having a fantastic cup at Ruth's Chris, where they bring the french press to your table, so good!
My very favorite is Zeke's Tell Tale Dark, when they have it. They have other great coffees. They are getting a bit pricey, but it is still cheaper than getting coffee out everyday.
I really dislike flavored coffee and try to avoid coffee roasters that sell flavored coffee, because I find the smell of those shops completely overwhelming.DH makes coffee almost every morning in our house. We have a grind and brew machine. While I appreciate a french press having freshly ground beans is more important to me and I am fine w/ a drip brew.
This morning we had a bunch of random stuff going on, so DH didn't make coffee and I got Zu coffee- they have a drive thru, which is the best when you have a LO in the car w/ you!
I love that place. I'm really ticked they did away with their fresh squeezed lemonade and frozen lemonade though. I used to always swing by there after a hot day at the park with Gracie and get one.
