I heard this game on the radio a few month ago.
Give us a sentence or two in "work lingo" that you think we wouldn't understand. The first person who can decode it and correctly "translate" it - wins.
Re: Work Lingo
haha, Sheila would probably be good at this.
) We don't really have any special lingo here.

Good god where do I even begin? EVERYTHING has an acrynom here. Not so much in sentences, that would be way too difficult, but here's a few:
GPDS
VCT
CBP
FMD
It's so bad in fact, we have a database with all of the acrynoms and what they mean. If it doesn't have an acrynom, believe me, someone will think of one.

we have a few acronyms. I am not sure if I can put them into a sentence.
EP
EA
PA
TD
CPR
TCS
We have so many acrynom's too!
BAR, CWT, BCD, HRG, ADR, JTB, it's insane
We also use the word penetration a lot... I am a nerd and get a little red saying it
We use alot of acronyms as well. it's crazy, sometimes we have to ask each other what stuff means.
Here are a few things I've typed already this morning:
"lmtc for drp to review dmgs"
"set dd for clm rep for ki email"
"located lkq fndr"

They have a bunch of stuff at DH's office. Since they all have security clearance it's super funny to hear him on the phone talking about something. Cause they have to explain what they're talking about without actually saying anything.
So you hear things like this "You know that second item on Monday's agenda. I changed the specs to match #4 from the last production cycle. That thing wasn't an issue like expected. No, the other thing. Right"
Engineering as a whole confuses me. One time DH had a question on materials and needed me to ask Sheila. The text messages that followed were like Greek...but both of them seemed to know exactly what was going on.
Best text convo to date

We talk in code too. There are thousands of acrynoms for where I work. There is a website to help decode them.
I wrote one email out, and about 90% was all acrynoms. I train newbies and one asked me what one of the acrynoms meant and I couldn't even tell her, I just knew what it did, but not what it stood for.
Here's mine, see if you can decode it:
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
No kidding... acronyms won't help anything, because sheila's VCT is vinyl composition tile to me.

On CO A123, line one is BO'd.

Can you contact RAC to check on the status of SRA123?
On this one: I won't expect anyone to know the RAC as this is just a location reference for one of our sister companies.
Wow, you uhhh got me there.
Different acronyms here, but the same story. Literally everything has an acronym!
A few examples: MCS, MSSICS, TSRP, VIP, SSNAP, MBR, SSID, NMC and on and on and on...and then, of course, the form numbers - there are hundreds of those too.
