Is that newer Highland House carry out place any good? Is it it just carry out or can you eat there?
Re: *McVay*
I've never been to the original HH location so I can't compare.
The carry out prices are reeeeeally good and you get a lot. But the food is just decent.
I have had one of the sandwich combos (good), the stromboli (enough for 2, easily), and a bunch of other items.
If you are looking for a cheap, easy dinner that tastes ok, then that is your place.
Well, that won't work. Dang. My friend that lives in Rochester Hills and I are trying to find somewhere in the middle to meet for lunch. Not a ton in the middle really. Any suggestions? I know there is an Applebees by the Fisk Farm, but that is all I really know. We are thinking White Lake near Waterford would be the middle.
I like Dave and Amy's which is close to where you were looking. Get the chicken fingers meal... its ridiculous. Some of the food has been just average, but it is a casual family joint.
Carrie Lee's for Chinese is right at Wms Lake Rd. (has a view of the lake) El Patio for mexican is right there too, but I haven't tried it.
Thanks!
