UPDATE: SHE FOUND A HOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for social media ![]()
Here is an email I got from a friend... let me know if you want to see pictures or want contact info:
My neighbor has a female Jack Russell names Sophie that is a purebred, she is 5 months with her shots. She is absolutely adorable and a sweetheart. My neighbor should never own a pet of any kind. She neglects and mistreats them. Prior to Sophie she had two other dogs one she left outside in the winter and he froze to death (this was prior to her living next door to us) the second we ended up taking care of until we found a better home because she went on vacation for a week, tied the dog to the fence and left her there. I came home and found her pinned under our fence. When I saw that she got another dog I was so upset, everyday my husband and I bring her over to play with our dogs and try to give her the love and attention she needs. My neighbor has had Sophie for about 2 months and is already looking to get rid of her. I asked what she was planning on doing with her and she said give her away for free, take her to a dirt road and let her go, or take her to the pound. I am sure you can guess this is not a favorite neighbor and I am counting the days till we move! So I am on a mission to get Sophie the home she deserves. She has a great temperament, very sweet, crate and potty trained and just wants love and attention. She is great with my two 100+ lbs labs, they play great with her. If I didn?t have two already I would take her in a minute. If you are interested or know anyone please let me know ASAP. Yesterday we had her over to play and I noticed she looks to have a sore in her ear, it had dry blood in it. I cleaned it out and it didn?t seem to bother her. It breaks my heart she isn?t getting the proper care she needs.

Ugh, this is terrible! What was this woman thinking? And how is she allowed to have pets after killing one? And it sounds like she even openly tells the story about freezing a dog to death.
I would take Sophie in a heartbeat but we already have a Jack Russell and I don't think he would like to have more company - he's not all that nice. Plus Sophie would be our third dog. Yikes!
Please keep us updated. I hope Sophie finds a good home!
LOOK AT THIS FACE!!!!!!!!!!
Why are you torturing me?!!!
Because Sophie needs a home!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, I know! And it's a very effective method! I want to punch that lady in the throat! I'm going to send the pictures to DH and torture him too. But we really can't have three dogs right now.....ugh.... But we?ll help in the search for a new home!
That's all I can hope for..... if we spread the word, someone will melt and have to take her
