POLL: What are the staple ingredients in your kitchen?
What are five ingredients your pantry/fridge is never without? Besides the usual flour, sugar, eggs, etc.
(I'm really hungry today...so this is taking the place of my Spicy Friday poll, sorry guys! Food > Sex, at least for me right now.)

1. Light Coconut Milk
2. Onions, carrots, zucchini, and summer squash
3. Chocolate chips, preferably Ghiradelli
4. Red Curry Paste
5. Feta and parmesan cheese
Milk. We drink a ton of it.
String Cheese. It's a great snack.
Trader Joe's gyoza. I love them
Frozen Pizza. Yeah for quick pizza!
Real butter. I hate margarine. It tastes like oil.
1) Dried guajillo, ancho and arbol chile peppers.
2) Black/pinto beans (canned or dry)
3) Onions, avocados, green peppers, lettuce (for quick tacos/tostadas)
4) Hummus & flour tortillas from our local co-op
5) Not an ingredient, but: Julie's Organic ice cream sandwiches. I must have them in the house.
Ooh, H and I love these too. We haven't bought them in forever though, thanks for reminding me!
1) milk, I use it alot and it also goes over cereal for breakfast
2) Ceareal, usually something sugery like cocoa puffs or Fruit loops
3) pancake mix, it is a good last minute dinner
4) cheese all kinds we always have cheese
5) that is hard I would have to say mini candy bars we always have to have those in the freezer
Boneless skinless chicken breasts
Various cheeses - I know right now we have cave aged chedder, fontina, parmesean, blue cheese, havarti and american cheese.
Fat free refried beans
Bread - we freeze all our bread and have several types
Polenta, jasmine rice, noodles
Frozen beef
- thanks to our business. It is always really upsetting if we run out of a certain cut though because I now refuse to buy it from the store
Cheese - a huge variety
Potatoes - not the healthiest of veggies, but Kyle is a meat and potatoes type of guy. He is learning to love most other veggies though.
Greek yogurt - I eat some as a snack almost every day. I use it for cooking as well.
Rice
Assorted bell peppers.
Lemons or limes.
Pecorino romano.
Soy sauce (I can practically drink the stuff).
Couscous.
(and avos whenever they're in season)
