What's going on this weekend?
______
My parents and sis are coming in town to putz around and also b/c my mom's bday is on Monday. No set plans of what we'll do, but my mom, sis, and I want to shop some (we don't do big store, more like F21, H&M, and Nordstrom Rack). Craft Beer Week also started last night and has some festivities going on that Ben, my bro and SIL want us to go to also, so who knows!
Re: s/o Friday: What's up?
I've got a half day today so I'm leaving work @ 11 and then running a gazillion errands, going home to do laundry, exercise and make lemon bars. yumm!
Tomorrow is my brothers graduation from his masters program so we're leaving around 6am to go to his hooding ceremony and then graduation ceremony. then we're having dinner with the family which includes a cake from our wedding cake baker - I can't wait to eat it and steal some left overs!
Sunday is clean the apmt a little, finish laundry, and relax day. Oh and I should get in a run too. we'll see.
bloggity blog
Tonight we're going on a double date with some friends and going to dinner at Famous Daves (nom nom nom), then the four of us are going back to our place to hang out for the night and probably watch a movie; we got No Strings Attached from Netflix so I'm looking forward to watching that.
Other than that we don't really have any plans for the weekend. I keep telling myself that I need to do a deep clean of the apartment and go through and organize the closets etc but I've been saying that for about a month now, so who knows if it'll actually happen this weekend or not.
The town I grew up in, where my parents still live, has an annual thing called Walkersville Days on Saturday, where everyone in the town sets up big yard sales, so if I get bored enough, I may go check that out.
Yes...a very exciting life, I know.
Boring weekend plans for me: clean house, grocery shop, work in the yard. DH has games Saturday and Sunday so I will be looking for ways to entertain myself those nights. I offered my company and/or babysitting services to both of my sisters and they both have prior plans-blah. Maybe if I hadn't moved away from my hometown for 7 years I would still have some friends around here to hang out with
Tonight is low key, renting movies and getting to bed early. I've still been feeling very wiped out and exhausted so going to try to play a little catch-up this weekend.
Tomorrow morning we are doing more yardwork/planting. I'll probably post pics on Monday to AW all the crap we've been doing.
Tomorrow night is boys night at the Phils game so I think I'm going to hang out with two of my girlfriend. One has an 11 month old baby so that'll be fun.
Sunday is the usual dinner at my parents then grocery shopping.
Christie - forgive me, DH is a coach right? What sport?
Wow Erica! You poor thing!!
I am so hoping that I can get my parents to play Just Dance (2). It's so frikkin fun, I've been doing it this week for extra cardio and I'm obsessed!

No DH is the facility manager of a minor league stadium (Toledo Mud Hens). He basically is in charge of making sure the place doesn't burn down, flood, get burgalarized (which means we get awesome 3 am alarm calls all the time), etc. as well being in charge of all of the ticket takers and ushers.
I have spent the day finalizing my theory on how John Hughes' potential exposure to Agent Orange resulted in temporary brain malfunctions during the filming of Ferris Bueller's Day Off that gave him the ability to add subliminal clues to Biblical Numerology during shots of the stock exchange ticker and Cubs scoreboard, thus prompting self proclaimed Biblical scholar Harold Camping to piece together the precise time of the Rapture.
Oh, and I'm baking a cake.
mmm cake!
Getting fit for IVF!
Oh Voldy, I love your cakes! Will there be broken dreams in this one, or shattered souls and desperation? I vote for the desperation...it makes the whole thing so much more flavorful!
No plans for tonight, might do something, might stay home, still up in the air.
Work during the day tomorrow and then going to dinner with my friend that did hair for my wedding, Lance has never met her hubby, so that should be fun. They are selling us a new pool cover that was sent to them by accident so we have to pick that up also.
I took sunday off (yay!!), looking forward to a whole day with Lance since that NEVER happens. We have to get groceries for my dad's birthday dinner at my house on Monday. I am making lasagna and better than sex cake.
**Hannah-our parents have the same birthday! It is also my grandma's birthday and my niece's birthday.
Well Friday was dinner with family.
Today we are taking it easy. We may go for a walk since it is finally NOT raining. We shall play it by ear
Tomorrow, we are doing our first seasonal trip to somewhere new. We try to go to a different small town each week during the summer. We have explored Maine and most of NH. Tomorrow, we are heading to Newport, RI for the day. I am excited.
Newport is really nice - I think we may take a drive over there this week while we're on vacation. Not sure if you're a wine drinker, but there are also a couple of vineyards over there that offer tastings.
