In Desperate Need of Dusting...
I *really* need some dusting tips. We have a dog with a triple coat that sheds like crazy and obviously has lots of pet dander.
There ALWAYS seems to be a layer of dust everywhere in the house. Even right after I get just cleaning. Granted, I suck at cleaning, but I dont think it should be this difficult.
I've tried Pledge products and Swiffer Dusters, microfiber cloths, paper towels with all purpose cleaner. What else can I use? What is the best product/technique out there?

I am def going to get a better air filter. Probably Filtrate brand. We dont open the windows bc it is so hot here year round. Hopefully the upgraded filter will make a difference.
We also use a Furminator on the dog, but it doesnt seem to make much of a difference
I use the Filtrate ones (purple or blue package) that cost like $20-$25. It seems crazy expensive, but it's well worth it when I go to change it and can see tons of dirt in the filter.

Since it's summer, can you get the dog a haircut?
I have the same problem in my condo and my association changes my filter monthly. I'm not sure about the ducts being cleaned in the building, but so far, nothing gets rid of my dust better than using a wet rag. Swiffer dusters stink if you are looking to get rid of the dust.
I also have to sweep my floor every other day and end up with a big pile of dust when I do. Good luck!
