Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Awesome Day!
I had an awesome day at work! I am technically a first year teacher, even though I was a long term sub all last year in a different school. Anyway I signed up for AP Statistics training during the summer to further my career b/c my district pays for the training... well my principal spoke to me today about observing AP teachers so I can teach it next year.
I am soooo excited!!!! I just signed up for the training to have the training-and eventually teach AP stats, but doing it next year is so much more awesome- as long as they have enough of students signed up that they need another teacher!
AND I got accepted to Grad School.. Cant wait to start those classes, and get my masters underway!

Yay for everything! As a former math teacher, I know how precious that AP training is....being denied that training and the chance to teach AP's (when no one else wanted to!) is one of the many reasons I left my former district.
Congrats on the grad school too, it'll pay off big time (literally) when you are done!
