I'm so dumb! I should have explained in my OP.
Basically a beefsteak is a dinner where the bring these thin slices of meat that essentially are cooked in butter. It is amazing. They bring them out on trays and you basically eat as much as you want until you are full. They are really popular here in Northern NJ. I'm sure Larissa has been to one as well.
In fact, the caterer tonight was The Brownstone (for those who watch NJ housewives).
I just made it back to my pre-pregnancy weight this week-although I did gain about 15lbs prior to getting pregnant after the wedding, so I'd like to lose that. Tonight was my diet free evening since I had a successful week!
