Play room storage and accessories
If you have a playroom for your kid(s) I was just wondering what you used for toy storage. I definitely plan on getting this

We have a train table that our neighbor gave us. And Id like to get a table with chairs. Do you have anything on the walls? pictures? art? shelving? point me in the right direction!
Anyone have suggestions I would appreciate it.

I was going to say that organizer, although I have seen it cheaper and BRU has coupons too! K and J have it.
Book case maybe for books and boardgames as he gets older?
For wall art we have a collection of the Disney Lithographs from when we bought DVDs over the years at the Disney store. We plan on using these in the future, for now they are in the cardboard protectors. (Family I sit for has Looneytoon autographed old posters hung)
Growing up we had a play kitchen and the table with chairs.
Ikea has the BEST playroom stuff and all very cheap.

They have all kinds of small storage systems. I'm going to pick up an easel next time im over there. Drew has really taken an interest in crayons and finger painting.

We have a big tunnel that is always a hit at playdates. We have a big toy box and a built in shelving/cubby unit that I put baskets in and fill them with things to omit any clutter.
As for wall decor. I have a big clock I got at Home Goods and lots of family pictures hanging but nothing really "babyish or kidish". I want the space to grow with him.

we don't have a separate playroom so I use organizers to manage A's toys best I can in a corner of our living room and in his room. Like navy said, we have that exact storage organizer you posted. To help A with cleaning up I took pictures of what goes into each bin and taped it to the bins. He loved this (partially bc they do it at daycare) and it helps make clean up easier.

His closet has a built in shelf unit in the center of the closet which is really helpful for storing books and the bins/baskets.

Yes, Ikea has great stuff. They have a lot of bookshelves that can be used with baskets and cubbies to have everything organized. Floating shelves are also very useful for books and artwork. I like to hang some of L's drawings on the walls, as well as pictures of him and the family.
Artwork, pictures, photos, decals, letters, maps, anything to keep the space playful and bright.
DH basically made a huge like hutch/book case type deal out of wood. I wish I had a picture I could post.... but it's in storage right now... basically similar to what peruvian girl posted... but he did the cubby sizes based on the size bins we were able to get from walmart. Really helped with storage. Not sure if you DH is handy like that.
Another idea that I have seen on here that I love is using rain gutters as bookcases. It works really well because then the books face out (not the binding facing out) supposed to help the kids want to read more since they see the front cover.
