I'm getting fired up on work related things.

I have this coworker. She is (I think) more junior then me; she has a lot of knowledge, but still jumps to conclusions and doesn't check with people before she assumes something should work a certain way in our product.

Well long story short, she kind of crossed a line on explaining what she thought the behavior should be on something for our product and thank GOODNESS I caught it because she was way wrong...and this was something I usually own, so it pissed me off....and I politely called her out and explained why she was incorrect. Thankfully I have back up to prove my point...Man, why can't people just check with you before they assume crap?

    It's not just corporate. It seems like people who have no idea what the hell they're talking about are always quick to spout off anyway. And those are the ones who talk the loudest too!

    One of my coworkers said something the other day that I thought was pretty bang on. She said that people typically get promoted to their level of incompetence, so then they're calling shots when they have no clue what they're talking about. Sounds like your girl!
