Anyone with a screened in porch?
How do you keep the thing clean?
We are in the process of buying the house I grew up in from my parents.
It has a screened in backporch. The screens are not floor to ceiling - they are more in window position. The place was SO dusty when I was growing up and I am worried about how to keep it clean with minimal dust/bug nastiness...esp since we have 2 cats who I know will spend a lot of time out there.
Most of my friends w/ a screened in porch have the screens down to the floor so they can mop/spray it off more easily.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Re: Anyone with a screened in porch?
This may sound crazy, but what about blowing them off with an air compressor?
I was just thinking you could try vacuuming them.
I would LOVE to have a screened in porch.
This is what we do. We had slate tile flooring put in last summer it is beautiful! I can just take the hose in now and hose it all down. If you keep up with a vacuum and a broom weekly it should stay clean.
