Bachelorette Party Help

Although I am originally from this side, I went to college in Kzoo and now live in Indiana, so I don't know of any great places to go out for my bestfriend's party. We went to AA for my bachelorette, but I don't know that area well myself. Can anyone rec a good area to hit the bars and dance scene (easy hopping on foot with cabs accessible to take us back to hotel)? Somewhere close to Farmington Hills, but no further than AA?

TIA!

Re: Bachelorette Party Help

  • We went to Novi for my bachelorette party - to Fountain Walk.  There's restaurants, a few bars, a club, and even a couple hotels all within walking distance - it was a blast!
  • Do you mind telling me which bars/club you liked?
  • Not a problem!

Bar Louie was fun - they have pretty good food there too if you wanted to have dinner,  There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings there and Coldstone, The Liquor Store was pretty fun for dancing (they also have a mechanical bull if you like that sort of thing, Hooters is there as well. Lucky Strike and M-Bar-Go are clubs there as well - I've never personally been to those 2, but I have a few friends who really like them.  Bar Louie gave us a free round of shots for my bachelorette party, and I got a free drink at the Liquor Store too.

I know there are a couple other restaurants and an Emagine Movie Theatre (they serve alcohol there as well) too.

It was a blast and everything is so close together you can walk to everything.

ETA:  Novi has a lot of other fun bars and restaurants too that you could take cabs too as well, since there are a lot of hotels in there area and there are a lot of fun restaurants.  Some other bars/clubs in the area that are nice are - the Dirty Martini is a lot of fun (it's above the Novi Andiamo), Gus O'Connors, and Fifth Avenue Ballroom (they usually have live music on the weekends) are some fun places too.

    Hope that helps!

  • TBH I didn't care for Lucky Strike all that much.  But there's a Second City comedy show in Novi too.  Loved that place.  You could maybe do dinner, a comedy show and a club afterwards!

Or if you go to AA, Necto was always a fun place to dance when I was single and a clubaholic.  We'd go to this li'l sports joint next door first, have a few cheaper drinks and shoot pool then head over to Necto around 10.
