So I ended up talking DH into at least fostering the Min Pin that DP's parents found. He is so stinkin' cute! So far, all the boys are getting along really well:

He is definitely still in that puppy state of mind. He doesn't understand what the word "No" means, but he quickly learned all about the squirt bottle. We definitely have a lot of work to do on his manners and potty training. DH seems to be getting really attached to him, so we'll probably end up keeping him forever.
But seriously? Look at this face:

Re: Meet Gus, Y'all!
OMG, he is adorable. Such a sweet face.
I keep telling DH we need a dog. He doesn't believe me.
Thanks, Ladies! Gus is actually in my lap as I type this
For now, it seems as though he'll be a permanent part of this family. DH & I love him dearly & we know that if we put forth the effort, his behavior will get better. Kayne was a holy peeing & pooping terror & now he's a good boy. If we can get a dachshund potty trained, surely we can get this guy trained too!
& I will absolutely AW our pics with JenHappy!
