Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I've mentioned a time or two that the Hubs works for the County Parks Department. Well, the Union is saying they are going to circulate a letter in the county regarding the Hospital up in Pomona about how if the privatize, jobs will be lost. Well, if they DO keep it County run, then yes, Hospital workers will keep jobs (probably not all of them) HOWEVER they will make cuts in the rest of the County and that means, MY HUSBAND. The Parks Dept. is FIRST on the chop block. They WILL get rid of them and then well...I then freak out. And we don't want me freaking out now do we?? LOL
Seriously, if you get one of these letters, I'm asking you not to sign it. The Hospital workers will most likely get picked up by who ever takes it over. The Union doesn't want the privatization because they will LOSE MEMBERS. No one is going to lose a job. UNLESS they keep the Hospital county run, then my Husband loses his. This county needs their department. My Husband and I NEED him to keep his job. So I'm asking you all if you hear any word of this, don't fall for the Union b.s. Let my Hubs keep his job.
