Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

call me selfish, but i snagged myself some ME TIME today!
I told dh that the mall opens at 11am - i have a few returns to make, and i have to find something to wear for our pictures next weekend. and i am going alone. and the baby can have a bottle even though she usually doesn't get them on the weekends.
since i'm nursing, i can only go for about 4 hrs anyway or i'll explode.
we were at a family party yesterday and dh was talking to his dad and stepmom about today. he told them it would be a good time to come and pack up his childhood stuff that he wants (they're selling and need to clean out) and he'll bring the kids since i have errands to run ALONE. these two complain that they don't get enough face time with the kids. and they told him - how will you get anything done if you are watching the kids?!
hey geniuses - you're going to play with the kids while he packs. we seriosuly had to spell that one out. ::sigh::

i was gone my full 4 hours and loved it.
unfortunately, i didn't get too much. i tried so hard! i tried on clothing in so many stores and really, either it doesn't look good or i didn't like the color on me. i got a open cardigan sweater thing with short sleeves that i'll probably wear for our pictures from JCP, two tanks and one tee from ON, and one button down fitted short sleeve shirt from NY&Co.
of course, the girls got most of the stuff: bathing suits, shorts, skirts, shirts, underwear, sandals. they are so much easier to shop for
