We want GOOD pizza... where should we order from?

Wings worth it?

Re: Best place to order pizza in Canton???

  • I don't live in Canton but when I go there to visit friends we get Benito's.  It is a chain, but it is tasty.  We get the deep dish square pizza.  I also like the Big Ben which is  GIANT round pizza that may not fit in your car =)

  • This is late but we usually go with Jets. I love their pizza but I don't think I've ever tried their wings though

  • Benitos is the best local chain. We love their pizza.
  •  We'll try Benitos next time. We went with Jets because so many of our movers raved about them. They were ok- we got the deep dish- reminded me a lot of Pizza Hut- not a fan of them. Wings there SUCK, but we were slightly happy about it because then we won't be tempted to get them when we order pizza :)  We both need to lose some weight and wings don't help (not that pizza does either, but dh just can't give that up).  I will add a disclaimer for Jet's wings though- we are tough critics coming from the place wings originated and we're known for!

  • I know it's too late for this time, but DH and I really like Cottage Inn.
  • Palermo's has good pizza.  They have other food too, not sure about wings.  You can sit down or get carry out.

  • Also, if you're in Canton, be sure to try Antonio's sometime for Italian food.  Their pasta is AMAZING.  The bread is great, too.  The pizza looks really good, but we haven't tried it yet.

Their bread is AMAZING!  Especially dipped in their ranch dressing.  Yum!  Their pizza is pretty excellent too. :)

Ditto! They also have half-off pizzas on Monday, but you have to dine-in. If you buy a salad, The bread comes with it. Also, free refills on bread. It's so bad, but soooo good!
  • Molly also votes for Benitos. She's just to busy to post. Just trust me.

I also vote for Benito's, but we know the owner's so I may be biased...their cheese bread (Benito bread) is really good.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Antonio's?  I thought their sauces sucked, they were so plain.  I have no desire to go back.

I also hated Antonios though it's mostly because I have never had better Italian food than I make at home.

    This is true.

  • We don't like Antonio's either. We had a horrible experience (food was nasty) at the Dearborn heights location one time and ever since we stopped going. But I must say I LOVE the statue outside of the Canton one.

We ate there the first time I came out to see the area. We loved it! Bread WAS great! And we live super close now too :)
