Re: what are you looking forward to this week?
Looking forward to:
1) Sleeping in tomorrow. I was up way too early this morning. My ILs are putting in new windows in their house and the guy showed up at 7:15am.
2) Friday. I have off.
Sorry, I'm a crankypants this morning and all I can think about is sleep right now.
Tomorrow I have a graduation party for a couple of cousins on Big M's side of the family who we never ever see. So, I'm looking forward to that.
Friday my company is letting us out at 1pm to get a head start on the long weekend.
Saturday we're having our annual Memorial Day Weekend cookout.
THREE DAY WEEKEND!
3D elective Ultra Sound
Painting the basement (or rather having Glen paint the basement)
Newborn Photo Session with twin girls
Arts Fest and eating my face off with the fair food
So jealous that you're going to State College for Arts Fest! Bring me back a Sticky!
Awww. No! I'm actually going to Harrisburg Arts Fest. State College happens in July. I forgot you went to school there too! How far away do you live from the SC area?
1) The nursery being fully painted. FIL came over on Sat for several hours to help DH paint. When I came home, I found out that it was only half-done ( after all that time). Not gonna lie, it kind of aggrivated me. I told J that I/we would just finish it off ( the "oops" on the trim and ceiling needed to be covered) but he said that his dad would come back "at some point" this week. "At some point" means sometime in the next week or 2. Until it's done painted, I can't start to set up a lot of it.
2) Friday ! I took it off b/c I am watching my parents' 2 dogs for the weekend. They are going away so it should be interesting to have 4 dogs in our place for 4 days ! J is not too happy about this but they watch our dogs everytime we go away so the least I could do is watch theirs this one time so they don't need to pay for a kennel.
Dx: Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism After 2 years TTC & failed IUs,we have our IVF baby born 9/24/11

Beach this weekend! We're probably going Saturday-Monday or Tuesday, but I may go back later in the week too. Our timeshare is Friday-Friday. And celebrate my mom's birthday on Saturday (her bday is actually Wed).
Tomorrow I'm going to the lady doctor for my annual, and I plan to ask about TTC- not that we will soon, with my lack of a job and paycheck, but at least healthwise we could have a plan, start taking prenatals, etc.
Thursday or Friday we'll go to a dealership for another test drive. We test drove a Mazda 5 yesterday (liked) and still want to check out the CX-7 (but I love less after comparing the 5 and 7 side by side) and a Chevy Equinox. I'm just having a fit about buying a new car when I don't have a job.
On Rapture Day we drove into Boston and there was this huge, low cloud all over the whole city- coming from the west it was warm, bright and sunny, so it was really weird. Turns out the Rapture Cloud was just fog, drizzle and cold.
That shows how tired I am. I forgot when SC Arts Fest is. I'm about 2 hours from SC. How about you?
We're just left behind because we weren't good enough to be raptured. ;p
I'm looking forward to this rain stopping. I thought it would by now, but alas... at least it held off enough for me to enjoy last night's whooping of the Cubs. w000t!
As for this week, its the first one of Sami's pseudo-new schedule, so Chris is home with her today, which I love because I never get to come home to him, he always comes home to me. And I'll be off Wednesday and Friday, so it's a night little way to break up the week.
Other than that, we're going to be planning out arses off for the epic MeatMorial Day party we're having on Sunday with at least 25 of our nearest and dearest. So again, I hope the sun comes back by this weekend!

It's the last week of school! It's a little bittersweet, honestly, because I'll miss these jokers, but summer seems oh so good right now.
Friday I have big plans for a mani/pedi to celebrate.
Oh, and I have lots of tomatoes. That's as exciting as it gets for me.
Tuesday night I'm taking an intro to pole dancing class. I've been wanting to try it, and the Zumba studio I go to is offering some free classes, so free makes it even better!
One of H's younger cousins is transferring to a local college in our town and him and his mother are staying with us Wednesday night since he has orientation on Thursday and needs to look at apts.
Thursday after work is the goodbye party for our admin at work, and then we head to the Cape for a long weekend!
Today I start my new schedule at work. Some weeks I work 9a-9p, some weeks 11a-11p. Both mean a more normal schedule for me (although less Nesting prior to work).
Everything else this week pretty much sucks.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I have a client graduating tonight, that's always a good way to start the week
Going to an info session tomorrow abotu being Slumber Party consultant - it will be good to get some details about what all this entails.
4 day weekend baby! We're heading up to Wyoming with a bunch of friends to go camping for the weekend. We went to this same spot last year, was a ton of fun. Lots of great hiking.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Wednesday I have a lunch meeting, which I'm only looking forward to because there will be free Jimmy John's.
Friday I have another lunch meeting, which I'm only looking forward to because there will be free italian food.
Friday night, SIL is coming up to babysit Ellie while Guy and I go to a concert for his birthday. We're going to see Primus. I plan to drink a lot.
Saturday, SIL is sticking around and we're going to go shopping. She needs to get some new clothes for her vacation to FL and I'm just tagging along.
And, long weekend! Woo!
We get to find out if the baby's sex on Wednesday!!! So excited for that!
Friday we're leaving for the beach!

My best friend's baby is turning 2 on Saturday, so we're going over there to party with them on Saturday, I'm looking forward to it!!
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I am looking forward to getting back into a gym routine this week though!
I think it's a girl

4 day weekend! Took Tuesday off along with Monday, and most likely I'll have a half day on Friday depending on how much progress I make this week at work.
Other than that, not much really. Running session starts again which I really need since I didn't run at all last week since there weren't any sessions.
So excited for you!
I'm looking forward to finishing our kitchen renovations just in time for guests this weekend!
| cute shoes make me happy |
Aw thanks!
You'll have to PIP the finished kitchen for us!!
