The urgent care clinic ended up sending me to the ER. They deduced it was probably a bad UTI, or a kidney stone that had already passed into my bladder. They gave me an antibiotic shot, and prescribed me some antibiotics and pain medication.
DH found out where I was and freaked out and hauled butt up there. I tried to convince him I would be okay, and begged him to let us stay so he could race on Saturday but he insisted we come home. So we are home. I feel awful that I ruined this for him. But he said I'm more important than any race, and there will be others. He was worried that if it got worse and he was doing the race for 17 hours, what would happen and he couldn't race being so concerned about me. He's been taking great care of me all day. Even yelled at the poor receptionist because they were making things difficult for us. :-/.
I'm bummed it ended this way, for him. But I'm blessed with a wonderful DH.
Just wanted to update everyone. Thanks again for being great friends!
