Tattoo
So I already have one tattoo which I love, DH hates beyond belief. I really have 2 other ones that I'd like to get, though I'm not even sure how I could get DH to be accepting of them. But I'm on a tattoo kick, so do any of you have tattoos? Where are they? What are they of? PIP is always a bonus

I have one on my left shoulder blade. I got it to remember my cousin and a dear friend of mine. Both passed away within a 6 month period back in 2005/2006.
I'm getting another in July. My pal up at Big Joe & Sons is going to do it. My buddy Cuda has been doing tattoo work 25+ years and I'm very excited he's getting to do one for me.
Both my tattoos are special to me and have meaning. The new one is a take on a Celtic rose. Means love eternal. Can't wait to get it.
I have 4 - but you can't see any unless i'm just about stripped down because of my job. A rose on my left hip (for St. Teresa the little flower - whenever she granted your prayer, a rose would show up in your life), two stars on my mid back (almost bra line - when you wish upon a star...) and the word "medicine" written in Arabic on my low back left side....
My tattoo rule is that I have to want the same exact design in the same exact spot for a year before I will get it.
I have four. I have a tribal butterfly on my lower back. Butterflies are a sign of rebirth and resurrection-got it for a great friend when he died my senior year of HS. Have a celtic knot on my right hip that stands for sisterhood/motherhood which I got to represent my heritage & my mom and sister.
Brain cancer ribbon on my inner left ankle for my Pop who passed from brain cancer and the word Soulmate in letters that almost look like they are smoke in the wind. On my left side, start just below my bra line, goes down to my unders line.
All black and white except for a little gray/silver in the cancer ribbon. (the color for brain cancer)
In September, after the summer I am going to get LB's newborn foot print on my right shoulder blade. I might get a tiny little lady bug either on it or very close to it. (Lilly Bug, my lady bug)
Is your DH oppossed the the actual tattoo's you want to get, or just tattoo's in general?
I'm not a Tattoo person. I don't have any, and if I were ever to get a tattoo, it would have something to do with my children, and that would be it. I just can't think of anything else I would want on my body forever. With that said, DH loves tattoo's. he has 3 and wants a few more. He knows I don't like them, but they make him happy so I tell him to do what he wants. If your DH is the way I am, he'll probably never be ok with them, so you should just do what you want to do. I am soooo the odd man out on this topic, always. Most of my friends and family have tattoo's.
Cuda from Iron Butterfly? That's the only time I've ever heard that name; he did DH's first tattoo a few years ago.

I have 2. A heart on my right lower stomach & Bon Jovi on my left side. The heart doesn't really have meaning i just always wanted a heart & it was my first tattoo. I was 19 & got it on spring break in Alabama! lol ... Bon Jovi i had wanted forever. I have loved him since birth & i figured if god forbid the day comes that i stop liking them (never happen) I had loved the band & the man for 25 years (i got it for my 25th birthday) so I would never regret it.
There are several more that i want I just never get around to getting them. Next up i want Adrianna written in a pretty pink script on my ankle sorta like an ankle bracelet but not all the way around. I have been wanting one for my Pop since he passed 5 years ago. I just want Pop with an angel halo over it on my right shoulder. & then there are several little things ive always wanted but not sure where: a libra symbol, an italian flag, & some sort of Jersey tattoo.
I only have a pic of my bon jovi (pre-baby & stretch marks!) lol

I've known him FOREVER. He's finally getting to "scar one of his girls". LOL My BFF and I go watch him play guitar in various bands. IN FACT...I met Cuda when he was playing in a band with AGWife's cousin. LOL Now when he's don't doing tatts. He plays guitar in 3 Ton Jack. Fun band. If you ever have the chance, check them out. They are fun to watch.

All my tattoos have meaning and I wouldnt change a thing about them
I have 4
1st: when I was 18, Its a tramp stamp,I love butterflies and the color purple. This design was taking off of a shirt I used to wear.
2nd: When I was 21, I got it for my grandmother. Her name was Rose, she died 4 days before I was born. This is on my right side, a little above and a little below the panty line
3rd: when I was 23: It is rosary beads around my right ankle, I got them a few months after my grandfather died.
4th: or as my husband says 4th - 18th LOL 29years old got it this Jan. My biggest and most painful!!!! 18 stars down the left side of my body - from my should to my waist. 6 Big 12 Small for our wedding date. In our wedding colors Pink and Black
P.S. my Husband had none when I met him, now in the past 2 years he has 3!! LOL

I have 4. I got my 1st one the day after my 18th bday. It's a sun on my ankle. It's a copy of a temporary tattoo that I got out of a bubble gum machine when I was like 12 lol.
2nd is a fairy on my other ankle.
3rd is a tribal-like heart and design above my pubic bone. I am SO over this one. Every time I look at it I wanna vom.
4th is a huge tribal design and dragon that goes from my neck to azz crack. Again I HATE this one now too.
I'd like to add that I got all 4 of these before I was 21. One day when I win the lotto, the 3rd and 4th are sooo getting removed.
