Anyone been raptured yet?
It's already past 6pm in New Zealand. According to the prediction, the rapture was supposed to sweep across the time zones hitting each one at 6pm. I'd say this was a bust. Oh well. I was looking forward to not having to cook and clean the house and go to work.

Re: Anyone been raptured yet?
Still here. I really have the urge to run around putting clothes in funny positions all over the place to make it look like people disappeared, though. :-)
I'm a little surprised I haven't heard more commotion about this today. I'm in Orlando for a conference, and the last I heard/saw on the news, the crazies were here trying to get everyone on board with the rapture stuff. Maybe they got sidetracked by Disney. :-)
Actually, I got curious and went to look at details about why this guy thought today was the day. Here's what I found... does this even make sense to anyone? Why those words, and what the crap does squaring the sum have to do with anything at all?! What a whackadoo...
Harold Camping has warned that the Rapture would come on May 21st 2011 for years, and end nears, many are left questioning if his Prophecy is fake. The Bible has taught Christians to always be ready for the Second Coming of Jesus at any time, sparking Judgement Day predictions throughout history. Even Harold Camping had a previous prediction of the Return of Jesus for the Rapture that was incorrect due to a mathematical error ? when his September 1994 date came and went without incident. What makes him so sure that this year, this date of May 21 2011, will in fact be the date of the Rapture?
Thus, Camping concludes that 5 ? 10 ? 17 is telling us a ?story from the time Christ made payment for our sins until we?re completely saved.?
It's now 6:25 here. Guess that means I too will have to tend to the toliets and floors.
Sunshine that does not make a lick of sense to me....
High Five everyone!! We're all rapture survivors!!!
Looking at Sunshine's post I'm thinking the next time we need to worry is 5/10/17. We've got some time.
PS- I love the idea of arranging clothes on the ground to make it look like people disappeared. Genius!
This makes no sense. What if you changed the order of all of these then what date would he come up with?
It really pisses me off that this guy stirred up all this sh!t about it and had people freaking out about it. I can't imagine how many people committed suicide or killed their families (to spare them) because of this.
