So, H was the one sending his resume to a bunch of chefs in SC, but I started scouring jobs and applied to a couple as well...and I have an interview next week! I got the call today at work, and it's for a position I'm really excited about at a university managing some researchers. Not sure anything's going to come of it, but after an awful morning at my job (and waking up sick as heck and feeling like crappola), I got the call and made plans to drive down for the day to interview. Very excited! And a little scared, since this makes the whole idea veeeeeeery real.

Thanks, again, ladies for all the advice, and I'll let you know how it goes!

That's great that you got an interview! As we all know, getting an interview means there are jobs available and if you're getting called to interviews you'll get a job, it's only a matter of how soon.

Small Nestie world - Charleston's where we're headed! My interview's at MUSC. H's whole family is there and he's a CoC grad. He's worked bartending and managing several places there and is currently the manager of an upscale American tavern up here in Raleigh. Any opportunities are appreciated!
