Disillusion - how long

How long will it take before you become disillusioned with your candidate should they win and take a path you do not like, don't follow up with their election promises etc?

I give McCain 1 year -- I give Obama 2 years.

I think liberals will still blame Bush for most things so I will give Obama awhile before his own party blames him for much.  McCain--hmm, a few months haha.
