We're having a PIG ROAST! Weird, but kinda cool, right? I've never been to one but we're having one at our house. I think it will be neat! I hope we don't gross too many people out, but if so, then they just don't need to come. :P

    That sounds like fun! the 3rd is our anniversary, so we'll be doing....something, though I don't know what we're doing for the 4th...I don't want to go to DC for the fireworks, but I don't know how those work here, since last 4th we were on our honeymoon, and the year before we were in VA beach....

    We'll be doing the fireworks in DC.  We're vacationing there with the ILs. I'd prefer to watch them from the deck of the rental house, but it appears that I have been out-vetod. I am still considering staying back with a bottle of wine though. I just have no desire for the mobs of people that will be there.

    This is why I have no clue what we'll be doing for fireworks. I know we can't see them from home (we live 50 miles from DC) but they'll be on tv, so that may be good enough for me, haha! I say you can come over and have some of our wine, since I can't drink any of it!!!

    7/2 is my BFF's wedding, so we'll be out of town for that.  Then the 3rd is my birthday.  If my parents end up coming to the wedding (they aren't sure yet) we'll stay in my hometown (where the wedding is) one more night and have a birthday dinner with them.  Otherwise we'll drive home early on the 3rd and relax some.  Unfortunately I have to work the 4th :(

    I do believe we we will be heading to Atlanta that 4th of July weekend & I could not be more excited!! =] I have been a huge Atlanta Braves fan since I was little, then when I met hubby I turned him into a huge fan as well. I have been to 6 games but have yet to go to Atlanta. I think we would be coming home the 4th but we will be there that Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

    The third is our anniversary...so I don't really know. We planned on going to Disneyland for a few days but we're saving up for our move and stuff....so now I don't know. :(

    My niece's HS graduation party is on the 2nd... so we will be hanging out with my family.  And driving home on the 4th!

    OOOH this post makes me excited!  I know I'm late but I've been working the past 3 nights in a row.

    We go to closing on the new house on June 30... masive clean of the new house is July 1, and then the big move is July 2.   So what better way to celebrate the 4th than in our new house!?!?  We're having a gigantor cookout/housewarming party.  Probably 50+ people.  I'll probably be so stressed about it going in but I know it will be super fun and feel so good to finally get settled :)
