Obama for the win

I'm sure y'all are thinking, 'shut up about your home county already.  We get it!'

But seriously, Vigo County is the bellweather county, having voted the way of the electoral college 100% since 1960.  It has only been wrong twice since 1900.  According to NPR, it has the best track record for picking both winners and winning percentages.

And it's breaking for Obama 57-42 (Western Country, about 2/3 of the way down):

Re: Obama for the win

  • One thing to note, though, is that since Indiana is in play this year, some out of state college students might be voting in Indiana instead of their home states.  Of course, that along with the working class dems in the state might push Indiana over the edge.

I notice on the map that they don't have numbers yet from the region, Indianapolis, or Bloomington - all very liberal parts of the state (okay, maybe not Indianapolis as VERY liberal, but as an urban area, it's moreso than much of the state).

  • That, and the Steeler's won last night. Win the Skins lose their last game before the election, so does the incumbant or the incumbant party. So YAY!

Plus I am a Steeler's fan, so that helps too :)
