AW: 5k
I did my first 5k today. I didn't run it all, actually I didn't even run half of it. But I did it and I've never done it before.
I don't know if y'all have seen it but there is a program called "Walk Across Texas". It may be only for state employees, not sure. Basically, a team of 4 has to walk/run 417 miles in 8 weeks, and a group of girls at work and I started doing it. Then we got adventurous and decided to sign up for a 5k. We had a blast today! So, I just wanted to to share my accomplishment today. Baby steps...
