Book recommendations on babies :)
Do you guys have books that you can recommend reading for after we bring the baby home. I have like every pregnancy book but nothing past that lol. There are so many so I wanted to see what books you guys really enjoyed!
Thanks so much!!
P.s. I hope everyone had a great weekend
Re: Book recommendations on babies :)
Eat, Sleep, Poop by Scott Cohen is pretty good IMO. I like the flow charts he has, and he is a Dr and father who writes from both angles.

For all things baby info I have "Baby 411" and I LOVED it. Tons of info about everything, like sleep, eating and nutrition, medical and health, poop...EVERYTHING. I ran out and bought "Toddler 411" when A tuned 1 and it's soooo helpful! I also give a copy of "Baby 411" to all my friends at thier showers now since It helped me so much.
For sleep solutions I can't recommend the Ferber Method highly enough. It worked miracles when A was about 5 months. I wouldn't worry about a sleep solution book yet though. If your babies not sleeping well by 4-5 months old on it's own then you can start looking into this.
I think that what to expect is good, if you aren't one of those paranoid people.
Thanks so much everyone for your recommendations! I really appreciate it! I'm excited to go get a few more books!
navybride- thanks so much!
I have Baby 411- someone lent it to me and it's helpful and easy to just look up quick info.
Another friend lent me Baby Whisperer, I only thumbed through it. We didn't have too many sleep issues (or I should say haven't yet- fingers crossed) and it's mostly about sleep so I haven't needed it yet.
If you are going to breastfeed the Nursing Mother's Companion is helpful, but I've found most of the info is on kellymom.com as well.
ditto Baby 411 and Happiest Baby on the Block.
(p.s. for you toddler mommies they have toddler versions of these that are great)
