There doesn't seem to be any good morning posts yet (Canadian holidy), so I will start...
My weekend was jam packed. Saturday I went for my long run (10 miles) and even though I didn't have my Garmin and didn't know my pacing, it went well. Then we spent the rest of the day cleaning, decluttering and organizing the house. Our house will be on mls by the end of the week!
Yesterday was more cleaning. I made a very bad decision. It was beautiful outside (although hot - 80 degrees) so I decided to go outside for another run and mock-race a 5k in prep for a race next Sunday. Due to it being so hot, having just run 10 miles the day before and some angry muscles, it turned out to be horrible. Within a minute my heart rate was up in the 190's (very unusual for me) and stayed there for about 8 minutes. With the heat and allergies my throat started to feel like it was closing so I ended up doing some walk intervals instead. It was very humbling.
Last night my Dad had a bbq and I spent much of the time playing with my niece and nephew and 2 of the next door neighbours guests (a 2 and 3 year old) joined in. The little girl was walking around with me holding my hand! It made me melt.
DH and I are both off today for the holiday and are handwashing all our floors. Good times.
What did everyone else do this weekend?
Re: Good Morning
Good morning! We had a busy weekend. We had the farmer's market on Saturday. It ended up not raining much. It was awesome to have a dry market. It was still a little slow, due to the lack of produce, but at least we weren't stuck in the rain all day. Saturday night I went out with a friend. We hit up a downtown bar with an awesome beer garden and sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Yesterday I did some work around the house. Then we had a friend over last night to watch the Cubs/Bulls with us. They were some disappointing games but good company.
Morning.
My weekend was all right. Friday night DH decided to stop at friends on the way home from work, so I spent the evening laying in bed watching tv.
Saturday I ran out for errands, and was shocked when I came out of Target and there was the sun! Haven't seen it in a week, so it was great. Once I got home I took the boys for a nice long walk. DH and I then went to a friends house to watch the Sox play (nothing like pixxing me off in the 8th), anyhow it was a great night as we we ruled the table at poker (bonus) and since the boys were at nana's. Ummm I actually got some sleep!
Yesterday it was freezing so we did grocery shopping and the usual cleaning.
Have a great Monday ladies. I am off later today to hit the dentist and pay a visit to my waxer.
Good morning. Hope the Canadian ladies are enjoying the long weekend.
I had a good and productive weekend. DH is out of town, so I had a chance to just chill and relax with some me-time. Went for a run on Saturday, and ran 5k for the first time in over a year (albeit slowly) so I felt great about that. Then went to a BBQ, which was perfectly timed with a gorgeous sunny day.
Sunday I turned productive and cleaned up around the flat, did some travel planning, called home and went to pilates (which I am feeling today). Ended the weekend with dinner with a friend.

Good Morning!
Saturday, we got up and went to the farmer's market in Falls Church and it was very good. After that, we stopped at Penzey's so I could replenish the spice drawer and then on to Old Navy for $1 flip flops (I got 4 pairs). Saturday night, we had tickets to see Follies at the Kennedy Center and it was fantastic.
Sunday was laundry and church and groceries (since they didn't get done on Saturday). Jim cleaned out his mom's gutters and that was about it. A pretty quiet weekend.
AF showed up yesterday, so we will be starting our last cycle of IUI with blood work tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed.

Good morning!
Our concert on Saturday went off really well and we raised about $3,000 for my church (specifically for the music ministry) from what I'm told. Woohoo!
My birthday was pretty quiet and after church we spent most of the day at home doing house stuff for a little gathering we're having tomorrow. Today more cleaning and stuff. We also started putting together the nursery furniture and it's looking great so far.... NOW I'm getting excited!
Anyone attend any weddings this weekend, particularly Saturday? (I thought some people had mentioned it.) V's cousin got married on Saturday and her FB pic leading up to the day was a guy holding a "Judgment Day May 21" banner, lol. I love her and I'm sad we couldn't travel to attend.

Good morning! Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.
My weekend was good. Saturday I did some shopping and went to a bday party for one of Jordan's friends. Sunday I sold my car in 4 hours after posting it on craigslist. After that we played in the pool all day. DH grilled and we did some yard work after the sun went down.
Good morning, all! I have never wanted a weekend to go so quickly as this past one. The weekend was the usual--errands, gym, chores, etc.--peppered with discussions about job transitions and what not. I forced myself to read, do some research and tried to not over-think my current company's reaction to my leaving (I'd say most people will be okay, but a few will be mean about it--an old colleague once told me one of our bigwigs called her traitor when she announced she was leaving). I had a nice Skype convo with my family, but it's really hard to talk to five people all at once!
Hope everyone has a good Monday.
Hey ladies! It's Monday night here and I'm enjoying the end of a 3 day weekend. Gotta love Cambodians and their 28 public holidays a year. The weekend was kind of crazy, my band played twice so we had 2 late nights, and on Saturday we cycled out to the Killing Fields which is about ten miles outside of town. It was a nice bit of exercise and a sobering experience. We did a whole lot of nothing yesterday since we were out til 4am Saturday night, and I did much of the same today as well as housework/laundry/dishes etc.
I'm homesick and I feel like a jerk for saying that because I know I'm so lucky to have these experiences, but I miss so much about home - everything from having an oven, to products I'm used to buying... I had to buy mascara in Bangkok because it's literally not sold anywhere here... to my family. It doesn't help that it's my niece's 1st birthday this weekend and I'm pretty sure she has no idea who I am.
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Good Morning! We had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday morning we did yard work - mowed the lawn, weeded, mulched. Then in the afternoon we met up with our friends for a pub bar crawl. It was awesome!!! We are going to do it again in the summer.
Yesterday my SIL arrived. She is staying with us for the next 6 weeks while she completes a rotation at the local hospital. I made a nice big lasagna for us and we stuffed ourselves.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning!
My weekend was a bit of a roller coaster, it started off good, got a little crazy, but finished nicely. Saturday morning I went to the farmers market and went grocery shopping. Then DH and I relaxed and watched a few movies.
Sunday morning I woke up at 5:00am to feed Bailey and to check on the pulled pork I had in the Crockpot. When I went downstairs I could hear water gushing! I went into the basement to find water pouring out of the water heater! I woke J up and he turned the water off. Thankfully our basement is unfinished so we didn't have much damage, just wet floors.
We were supposed to go to my sisters at noon for a BBQ to celebrate her b-day and my Grandma's b-day, so I ended up going to that while J and his dad installed a new water heater. I felt bad leaving J to handle everything but I was bringing the main dish to the BBQ so I felt like I couldn't skip out on that either.
We finally had some dry weather over the weekend. It's now back to rain until what looks like Sunday? Ugh.
Friday night we had a random house party. Friends just kept popping in to say hi, so we grilled and had a good time. DH got drunk for I think the first time in over a year. That was interesting. He did almost burn the deck down by leaving the gas and a burner on on the grill for a few hours. Oy.
Saturday I had to work, so I lounged most of the morning while DH mowed the lawn. Then we lounged some more that night when I got home.
Sunday we pulled out everything from our front garden beds and started over. It looks so much better now. Thankfully we were able to tie ropes up to the jeep and pull out all of the bigger bushes. It's nice to finally have some flowers and color out there, rather than beat up bushes from the snow this winter.
Today I was babysitting my niece and nephew. It was a good time, but it made me miss my babies more than I thought it would.
Tomorrow I have a conference call in the AM, and then my second interview for that awesome district in the afternoon.
Friday I'm having surgery again, hopefully this time it will work out how it's suppose to and we can start planning our FET
