Slugs are literally invading my deck at night. Last night we had 8 of them crawling on our deck and I'm getting icked out by them. DH put salt down but it's not donig any good.
We recently had our house professionally landscaped and are starting a garden this week so I don't want these pesky creatures killing everything.
Suggestions on what to use?

sluggo!
safe for pets, too.
We feed the birds, and they help get rid of slugs. We also have a pond, and frogs have found it - they love slugs, and we hardly get any.
I have tried all sorts of things in the past - pellets, beer traps etc, but find it's best to go with nature and give natural predators chance to feed on the slugs.
You can also get an old plank of wood and turn it over every morning, to expose any bugs that are underneath for birds to feed on.
