We're having a...........
BOY!!!!!! DH and I could NOT be happier!!! We would have loved a girl just the same, but we we're pulling for a boy :-) The tech said she could tell what our baby was within 5 seconds of starting the ultrasound. Our baby was moving around quite a bit in there so it was hard to tell what was what, but we were able to make out "the goods."
In this picture you can make out the face with his hand up to his face, and his belly - with the cord coming out. And right below that are two legs and his boy parts in between!! It was so amazing to see our healthy, happy, active son playing around in my belly :-)

Congratulations!!! I am dreamoing about having a boy first. So happy for you!!! Could you use this picture and add some drawing of what is what in it? Where are the goods?
It's amazing the tech could tell immediately it's a boy.

Thanks everyone!!! We are over the moon! I love little boy things :-) Plus we are huge football fans - and I have ever intention of being a crazy football mom lol!! Tomorrow is DH's and I 9 year anniversary of being together so I went and found the smallest little stuffed football I could find to give to him tomorrow :-)
I will try to see if I can figure something out. His face is in the upper right corner, with the hand up to the face. And you can see the legs coming out at the lower left hand corner of the screen.
Oh man, am I embarrased. I can totally see it, with your description. I don't know where I was looking before. It's so cute
Dummy question - so you could actually see him swim around and play inside you? I did not know that it was possible. Did you feel him get all wiggly?
This makes me want to have one inside me too.

With the 4d (movement) it's like they are taking a bunch of 3d pictures in a row so you can kind of follow the baby moving around. We could see him moving around a stretching, but it was hard to keep focus on him. I'm happy he's a happy active baby - but that makes me nervous for when I'm further along and feel every kick lol!
I am still only feeling little "pops" and flutters every now and then. While we were doing the ultrasound I would feel little flutters every now and then - but nothing major. My Dr thinks that I'll be able to feel more definite movement soon.
It is a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone ;-)

Haha yeah it takes some squinting and some time but once you see it - it's definitely there :-) We were also able to see the good's in 2d which was a little more obvious. What your DH said was sooooo cute!! As for how we made a boy...... I wish I knew the trick! I bet a lot of people would pay for that information haha! I'd be rich lol!
