Places to eat in Hopkins?

We are going to the Children's Theater in Hopkins tomorrow night and looking for a family friendly restaurant for before an evening performance. Anybody recommend a place(s)?

  • I've only been to the Big Ten Restaurant on Main Street. It's pretty close I think. Food wasn't bad at all.

  • Big 10 is right across the street and is good for families. If it's nice out you can even eat outside. There is also the Wild Boar across the street, but it's more of a bar atmosphere (good food though).

Here is a link to all the restaurants on Mainstreet: http://www.thinkhopkins.com/enjoy/shopping-dining/restaurants-main.html

    Enjoy seeing Pinkalicious! :-)

  • We've also been to Big 10 and really liked it!

  • There's a couple new places I just read about that got good reviews recently. I haven't been, but have heard good things. On is Curry and Noodles and the other is Samba Taste of Brazil if ou are looking for something a little different.

Pizza Luce recently opened in Hopkins on Blake and Excelsior.

  • We like Curry and Noodles.  It might depend on how good your kids are about food.  We had the buffet and there were a lot more Indian options than Chinese.  It's not too spicy, but for my taste every "spicy" food I've tried couldn't even be called mild. They nee d anew category called "less than mild".  But DH could eat it and he can't eat my mom's spicy cooking.
  • Mmmmmm. Turkey hoagie at Big 10. So good!
