Why did my lilac buds shrivel up?
I was so excited for my first spring in this house, given the large lilac bushes in the corner of the lot. They came along nicely, have good leaves, got zillions of buds. But the last couple of days, instead of starting to open like everyone else's, they are all drooping and the flowers appear dead. What happened???
