it pisses me off how expensive running is!
Have you run with mrBAMF yet? 2 weeks ago he was wearing a compression shirt and it is TIGHT. He was trying to get it off after their run and one of the runners said to him "Dude. You need to look for a tighter shirt". He went back last Sat and told them "I looked for a tighter shirt. There isn't one"

But for reals. The "wicking" clothes, the farking shoes, the ankle brace, the icepack wrap, the fuel belt, the NEXT fuel belt, the wool socks, the calf sleeves, the race registration fees, etc etc etc.
Running is NOT a cheap sport!

Try horseback riding, cycling, or triathlons.....they are money pits! I have personal experience with my money disappearing from all of these hobbies.

really, everyone knows amateur space travel is the MOST expensive hobby...all those special suits, plus you have to get the freeze dried food...and don't even get me STARTED on how much tang costs.

my grandma used to have a canister of tang when i was a kid, and i guess it was really old or something, because instead of powder, it had crystallized into big chunks...and i'd eat it like candy.

Yeah, I have bought clothes, a fuel belt, another smaller water bottle with a hand strap for shorter runs, more sports bras, and protein powders (farking expensive!!). Next up are new shoes, because I know I'm "supposed" to have properly fitted shoes, but honestly my nearly new Saucony shoes fit great and feel good. I'm afraid that if I don't get new shoes I'll end up with shin splints.
