is it the weekend yet?!
i'm feeling stressed and anxious, and am looking forward to the weekend.
well, some of the anxiety comes from the pictures we're taking saturday morning since i am not 100% sure of what we're all wearing, and i'm making the girls different hair accessories - but am somewhat stumped since again - i don't exactly know what they are wearing 
i need to chill out! LOL! 
+ a sedative would be necessary!

i can't seem to coordinate our colors well enough! it's frustrating. and i've returned a lot of stuff because i just didn't love it enough.
a lot of stuff isn't fitting me well. i'm between sizes, so it either looks like i'm stuffed in or it's so baggy which just make sme look bigger. not exactly comfortable in my skin lately

BUT, dh and i don't come off looking too good in cream.
so, for family shots: i'm thinking a mix: i bought a short sleeve open cardigan in a bright rose pink. i'll wear a light aqua under it. dh will wear a deeper/brighter aqua polo. we'll both wear jeans (mine possibly denim capris). Ava has two options - a light pink dress with ruffle layers or a two piece top - the shrug is turquoise/aqua with some sequin trim and the tan under it has vertical ruffles and the pattern has the same pink as my sweater, lavender, aqua and a few other light colors. she can wear that with eithe rpale pink or white capri leggings. I think I have a pink dress with three ruffles on the bottom in hot pink, yellow and turquoise for the baby.
if the pink and blue look weird together on me, i think i can wear brown under it, and dh has a brown polo. but then i'll keep ava in the pink dress...
i'm putting way too much effort and thought into this, aren't i?!
relax! I think you are giving this too much thought. Where are these photos being taken? In a studio or outside? If outside or you just want some more photo inspiration check out this blog. The mother is a photographer and she takes gorgeous shots of her kids daily.

I agree with Kate. Relax. If you don't come off color coordinated in the end, its ok. I promise, no one will notice but you.
I, personally, am dreading this weekend. I'm all call from Fri-Monday, and in addition to covering three hospitals in Orange County, we are also covering the hospital in sullivan county just north of monticello. On a weekend where there are 3 days of sold of phish concerts at bethel woods and that's the nearest hospital. I cannot wait to sit in the traffic on the quickway and and fix stoner's bones all weekend long.
it is outside.
we've done studio family shots before. the ones where we're wearing whatever are really not as nice as the ones where the same color family permeates throughout. so knowing that, i am trying to make this work
now, if my kids would just go to sleep early than 9:30pm and my kitchen would magically clean itself, i can finish those hair accessories and relax with some ice cream!
